Terri Ayres, Volunteer Manager

Geisler-Penquite Gift Shop Terri brings more than 30 years as an interior designer and a former visual merchandiser to her role as gift shop manager. She is also a long-time board member and CAA is extraordinarily fortunate to benefit from her time and talents.

In choosing items for the shop, Terri and a team of associates select from a wide range of artwork. Their emphasis focuses on regional and Iowa artists (a few from right here at CAA). They particularly enjoy finding items with unique style as well as ethnic pieces, textiles and pottery.

How the Gift Shop Got Its Name

The Geisler-Penquite Gift Shop was named to honor Harold and Mavis Geisler, and Loren and Cecil Penquite. Early and ongoing grants from the Geisler-Penquite Foundation, benefitting qualified and mission-aligned Jasper County non-profits, have been vital to the Gift Shop and we are grateful for their continued support.
